It is with great pleasure I announce that Year 11 have gained the best ever results in the history of the school.  Congratulations to all pupils and staff on the August 2015 results - 99% of all pupils gained at least 5 Level 2 qualifications (95% in 2014), whilst the Level 2+ threshold (5 qualifications including Mathematics and a language) increased from 59.8% in 2014 to 64.4% in 2015 – an increase of 4.6 percentage points.

The Core Subjects improved significantly this year with the Mathematics Department gaining 68%, the Welsh and English Departments respectively gaining 73% and the Science Department ensuring 100% success.

I wish to draw your attention to the following pupils who gained highly impressive grades – Seren Jones-Reddy (7A* and 4A), Charlotte Morris (5A*, 4A and 2B), Jessica Humphreys (4A*, 6A and 1B), Iori Kent (4A*, 4A and 3B), Shauna Evans (4A*, 4A and 2B), Jamie Evans (3A*, 5A a 3B), Molly Sedgemore (2A*, 6A and 3B) and Evan Goggin-Jones (1A*, 6A, 3B and 1C).  We look forward to welcoming them back to commence upon their AS studies on September 2nd 2015.
