Cluster Orchestra Concert

posted 17 Jul 2012, 15:42 by Unknown user
Last week pupils from the Rhydywaun primary feeder schools came together for a very special transition day with a musical theme! The cluster orchestra was formed thanks to the hard work of Mr Marcus Williams, Head of Music, and Mr Andy Williams, Upper Strings peripatetic teacher. The pupils all came to Rhydywaun for an afternoon rehearsal followed by a performance in the school hall, where parents and primary staff enjoyed listening to the 100 strong orchestra. The audience members agreed that it was a worthwhile project, and one which all involved in are keen to develop further next year. Many thanks to the pupils who took part, and to the Music Department and peripatetic teachers for their support.
